Join our 3 days Chimpanzee tracking / trekking in Kibale Forest is one of the best places in Uganda to do wild Chimpanzee tracking and other species of primates as the forest ranks first in Africa in possession of primates. Other primate species to observe while in the forest are the black and white colobus, the red colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey and the rare l’Hoest monkey. Also nocturnal primates like the Thomas’s galago can be seen. Trekking in the Bigodi Swamp for 3 hours is nature rewarding activity which brings you to over 200 bird species, 8 primate species, mammals like bushpig, bushbuck and the very shy and endangered sitatunga.

Day 1 : Travel to Kibale forest National Park
Have an early breakfast our guide will pick you from your accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala and drive you to Kibale Forest. You will stop in Fort Portal for an early lunch before continuing to the forest. An evening will be for the Bigodi Swamp for a memorable nature walk that will bring you closer to over 200 species of birds and 10 species of primates. Overnight for the 2 nights will be at the Chimpanzee Guest House
Day 2 : Chimpanzee tracking Kibale forest and Swamp Walk
At a reasonable breakfast, drive to the Kanyanju starting point for briefing and allocation of the guides and the Chimpanzee tracking group to track. If you have opt for a Chimpanzee habituation experience, you will have packed lunch and enough bottled water from the lodge. The park is also known for a list of butterflies and birds. After the activity, you will spent the evening doing a community tour.
Day 3 : Travel back to Entebbe or Kampala
After breakfast, you drive back to Kampala making stopovers for beautiful sceneries. The will drive you back to your residence in Kampala or if you are continuing your journey to the next destination or back home, you will driven to the airport.
