6 days Gorilla, Chimpanzee tracking & wildlife tour will provide you with the amazing experience of visiting and having a face to face interaction with the great Apes; The Mountain Gorillas of Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a world heritage site in Western Uganda. It is most notable for half of the world’s remaining population of the critically endangered mountain gorillas and this will be the highlight of our safari. Surely this safari will bring everlasting memories; see primates like the Chimpanzees and monkeys, not forgetting a variety of wildlife you will watch all on the same safari. On top of this, enjoy culture and beautiful scenery as you traverse the countryside.

Day 1 : Entebbe airport transfer to Kibale National Park

On your arrival you will be received by our representative, your driver/guide who will get you briefed about the safari. Depending on your arrival time, drive to Kibale national park, Fort Portal, passing via Mityana-Mubende road. Have a stopover in Mubende to visit the Nakayima tree. Have picnic lunch en-route and continue to Kibale forest national park. Arriving late afternoon, check in to the service of Isunga Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Chimpanzee Trekking Kibale and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

After early morning breakfast you go to this great Park which is said to have the greatest variety of primates in East Africa, for Chimpanzee trekking. Among the primates found in this forest are the black and white colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, and red tailed monkeys. Then in the afternoon after lunch, we will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, driving along the foothills of the shadows of the magical “mountains of the moon” -Rwenzori. Arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 : Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

The day begins with an early breakfast and we go for a game drive in the Kasenyi Kobs mating ground which is in the northern sector of this Park. We are more likely to see waterbucks, buffaloes, elephants, lions and warthogs in their nature habitat. The game drive normally takes 2-3 hours. After lunch we go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, a natural channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This is a very interesting cruise because of the big
numbers of animals and birds it offers. It also takes 2 hours. Dine and slumber at Twins Lake Lodge.

Day 4 : Queen Elizabeth – Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest

After an early breakfast, embark on a game drive to the Ishasha plains for the resident tree climbing lions plus a diversity of wildlife. The landscape in this sector is unique compared to that in other parts of Queen Elizabeth national park. It’s breathtaking seeing these lions lazily resting on tree branches targeting their prey. In the afternoon, we then transfer to Bwindi National Park with lunch en-route.

Day 5 : Gorilla Tracking Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park

After an early breakfast, we proceed to the park offices for registration and briefing before starting the highlight of our activities; the Gorilla trekking. Encountering the largest and heaviest primates is an adventurous and memorable activity which can’t be easily erased on your mind. Tracking from Bwindi sometimes involves walking up steep densely forested hills; therefore some fitness may be required. It may take 3-8 hours under muddy and strenuous conditions, sometimes with rain overhead. But all these conditions cease to be a challenge the moment you come face to face with the amazing mountain gorilla. We come back to our accommodation, dinner and overnight.

Day 6 : Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Kampala

After breakfast we drive back to Entebbe, with stopovers/ breaks at Equator for the water experiment and look at the craft shops. We later proceed on to Entebbe and check into your place of accommodation or drive straight to the Airport for your flight home. end of 6 days Gorilla, Chimpanzee tracking & wildlife tour
