7 Days Climbing Lions & Gorilla Trekking Uganda: 7 days of climbing lions in the Queen Elizabeth national and Gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
This adventure takes you on a journey through the primate forests of Uganda in search of primates majorly the Gorillas and lots of bird species and nature, this is combined with the thrilling Lion experience in the Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will experience the climbing lions in the Ishasha sector and more of the lion and predator experience on the northern sector crowned by a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel for a thrilling wildlife experience.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be picked by the driver who will transfer you to the hotel for refreshment. Depending on the time of the day, lots of activity are listed as options, a nature walk in the botanical gardens, a tour to the reptile village, the wildlife Zoo and a walk through Entebbe to stretch.

Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, we check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a scenic adventure drive through the foot hills of the Rwenzori mountains covered with tea plantations and forests creating the beauty of the landscape. En-route lunch in Fort portal city with clear view of the Rwenzori Mountain. Enjoy an evening game viewing as well as an option to visit the craters that include the two salt lakes of Lake Katwe and Lake Bunyampaka before retiring to the lodge.

Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon Boat Cruise
The day begins with an early breakfast and we go for a game drive in the Kasenyi plain, high concentration of wildlife at the mating grounds with different antelopes. The experience is crowned by an optional lion and predator experience with a doctor to study and learn about the life of the cats in Queen Elizabeth national park.
The activity is done off the track during the search of the big cats. We are more likely to see waterbucks, buffaloes, elephants, lions and warthogs in their nature habitat. After lunch we go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, a natural channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This is a very interesting cruise because of the big numbers of animals and birds it offers along the channel shores.

Day 4: Climbing Lions Experience
The day starts with a drive through the park after breakfast, a gave viewing drive where you get to find lots of different wildlife on the route to Ishasha sector the home of the climbing lions. Arrive in the late morning and take on the search for the climbing lions in their home, this depends on the weather and movement of the lions, it is a day long slow drive through the wildness in search of the lions in the tree.

Day 5, Lion Experience game drive and Drive to Bwindi Forest
After a breakfast, take the morning game drive through the figs in search for the lions and other savannah wildlife species before the drive to Bwindi Forest. The drive to Bwindi is an epic scenic experience that will relieve you and usher you into the rolling hills into the impenetrable forest the home to the gorillas.

Day 6: Gorilla Tracking Bwindi Forest National Park
A morning breakfast and drive to the starting point for briefing and allocation of the gorilla group to track as well as the staff to take you through the gorilla experience. Being one of the most wildlife encounter on foot in their wild nature, Gorilla tracking experience will beat all other wildlife experiences.
Retire at the lodge and an evening visit to the Batwa community the pygmies who used to live the gorillas in the forest is a moment worth to see and experience their life out of the forest and stories of their life while in the forest.

Day 7: Drive back to Entebbe or Kigali.
After your morning breakfast, there will be three options for you to connect back home or the airport. First to drive to the airstrip and pick a domestic flight back to Entebbe to catch up with an evening flight back home or to the next destination this limits the drive, secondly to take on a scenic drive through the rolling hills with a stopover at the equator and arriving at the airport in the evening or drive to Kigali and fly out at the Kanombe airport in Kigali which is a less driving time.
