9 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari

9 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari Upon arrival you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to a Nairobi hotel of your choice for an overnight. once at the hotel, prepare for your 9 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari starting the next day.

Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi- Amboseli National Park

You will be picked form the airport or hotel in the morning and depart Nairobi between 7.00- 08:30 hrs driving to Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi – Mombasa highway home to the proud and brightly painted Maa tribe of the Masai, the acacia woodlands and grasslands of the park shelter an abundance of game including buffalo, lion, cheetah, hyena, zebra and wildebeest. Amboseli National Park lays below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free standing mountain in the world. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, relax a bit before departing for your evening sunset game drive at 4pm.
Leave the park and return to the camp at 6.00pm, Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Lodge Amboseli/AA Lodge

Day 2: Explore Amboseli national park

After breakfast we will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve from 8.00am. There are over 900 African elephants in Amboseli, as well as huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals including giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas and antelope, and large herds of elephants. Amboseli has a mixed topography of plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush, swamps and marshes. You will have a beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro, Visit Observation Hill which overlooks the park, swamps and of course the herds of free-roaming elephants, meet the Maasai people and learn about the Maasai culture and their indigenous lifestyle. Break for your picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and overnight accommodation at the lodge Sentrim lodge Amboseli/AA Lodge

Day 3: Amboseli national park- Lake Nakuru national park

After breakfast check out and and proceed to Nakuru passing through the great rift valley and L. Naivasha, lunch en route. Do evening games drive and enjoy the serenity of Lake Nakuru. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge/ Flamingo Hill Camp

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Mara national park

After breakfast you will check out and leave Nakuru area to Maasai Mara through Narok. Make sure to enjoy the beautiful scenic views as you drive along. Lunch en route at Narok, proceed to arrive in the afternoon, check in and relax. Go for an evening sunset game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Lodge/Sopa Lodge

Day 5: Maasai Mara national park

After breakfast you leave with picnic lunch for the full day game drive at the park. Masai Mara has a lot to offer and it’s a park that you have an opportunity to see all the big five at a very close range and in plenty of numbers. You will have your picnic lunch at the hippo’s pool to return to the camp in the evening. You can arrange with the driver guide to visit the maasai village (optional).

Day 6:Maasai Mara national park- Serengeti national park

After breakfast you will check out and exit the mara area and departure to Serengeti national park in Tanzania, you’ll be received by our Tanzania guide at the Isbania border after the immigration formalities. Evening games drive to return latter in time of sunset for dinner and overnight at the camp. Katikati tented Camp /similar

Day 7: Serengeti national park

After breakfast you will leave the camp with picnic lunch for a full day game drive at the park. Serengeti is equally same with Masai Mara rich in game and all the big five with other animals in big numbers. Will have your picnic lunch at the park to be back to the camp by evening. Dinner and overnight at the camp. Katikati tented Camp /similar

Day 8: Serengeti national park – Ngorongoro crater national park

After breakfast you will prepare to leave for Ngorongoro crater national park to arrive there in time for lunch, check in, and have lunch at the camp latter go for the crater for a view and game drive to return later in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge. Rhino/Kudu Lodge

Day 9: Ngorongoro crater national park –Arusha/Nairobi

After breakfast you will prepare to leave Ngorongoro for Arusha. Pass by the Lake manyara view point, enjoy the beautiful sceneries as you drive along.  On arrive in Arusha can have a brief walk/shopping, drop at Arusha shuttle to Nairobi, Arusha airport or a hotel in Arusha (You’ll advise us on this for the last day).
